Personal Training and Competition Prep

Personal training at Precision Performance Systems covers the full range of non-clinical fitness goals — from general strength and conditioning, to physique-focused programming, to full bodybuilding competition preparation. Every program is built around the individual client: current fitness level, history, schedule, and the specific outcome they are training for.

Sessions are available in person in Wantagh, NY, fully virtually, or as a hybrid combining the two. The programming standard is the same regardless of delivery format.

Programs Offered

General Fitness & Strength

Foundational training for clients building consistency, recovering general fitness, or strengthening for daily-life demands. Programming integrates resistance training, conditioning, mobility, and movement quality — appropriate for new lifters and returning clients alike.

Physique & Body-Recomposition Programming

Structured strength and conditioning aimed at body composition goals — building muscle, reducing body fat, or both. Includes training programming and non-medical nutritional guidance. Realistic timelines are discussed up front.

Bodybuilding Competition Prep

Full preparation for amateur bodybuilding, physique, and figure competitions. Covers off-season training, contest-prep training and conditioning, peak week, posing guidance, and post-show reverse dieting. Experienced coaching grounded in personal competition history.

Virtual & Hybrid Training

For clients outside the Long Island area — or local clients who prefer the flexibility — virtual programming delivers the same individualized design with structured check-ins, video form review, and ongoing program adjustment. Hybrid clients combine periodic in-person sessions with virtual programming between visits.

What to Expect

1. Consultation

A no-cost call to talk through your goals, training history, schedule, and current situation. This is also where we determine whether the programming is a good fit and what delivery format makes sense.

2. Intake & Assessment

Detailed intake covering training history, prior injuries, movement assessment, current measurements (if relevant to the goal), and lifestyle factors that will shape the program — sleep, work demands, available equipment, and time per week.

3. Initial Programming

Your first program is built around the intake and your specific goals. Programming is delivered in writing with notes on exercise selection, set and rep prescriptions, and progression criteria.

4. Sessions & Check-Ins

In-person sessions run in Wantagh, NY. Virtual clients meet weekly or biweekly for live sessions, plus written check-ins and program adjustments between calls. All clients have direct access for questions between sessions.
